LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A month out from the PGA Championship at Valhalla and crews are working to keep construction on schedule.
Crews are working seven days a week to build hospitality and vendor tents ahead of the August event at the course. Tournament Director Bret Sterba says along with the hospitality areas, fans will notice the redesigned greens that feature new drainage and cooling systems. Sterba says the August 7-10 event will also debut the PGA's largest Tournament Shop, offering what is described as a "golf department store" on the course.
Tickets remain for the practice rounds Monday through Thursday of tournament week with all weekend rounds sold out.
